RSAB Mission

“To regulate, promote, manage and develop the sport of ‘Roller Skating’ in the State transparently.”

“To create comprehensively established progressive pathway for Roller Skating Players, Coaches and other Technical persons of the State”.

“To seek support of Govt. of India, Govt. of Bengal, Sport Authorities, Executive Council Members, all Member Associations, all Districts Associations, Indian and International Media and Sponsors for the continuous promotion and growth of Roller Skating”.

“To effectively Co-ordinate with Roller Skating Federation of India (RSFI), Bengal Olympic Association,  for the progress of the Sport of Roller Skating”.

RSAB Vision

“To provide leadership for the sport of ‘Roller Skating’ by focusing on common ‘Mission’ of all Stake holders and to set-up short, medium and long-term ‘Goals’ in terms of the progress in all core activities and functional areas of Roller Skating in order to ensure the talent and standard of Roller Skating in the State continues to grow with the sport becoming increasingly popular worldwide and nationwide”.

Aims & Objects

To encourage, standardize, control, promote and develop the game of Roller Skating in Bengal especially by organizing Coaching, Training Camps, Championships and Exhibition Matches amongst Schools, Colleges, Universities through and by affiliated Organizations on an amateur basis for adults, juniors and sub-juniors.

To maintain general control of Roller Skating in West Bengal particularly with reference to the Rules and Regulations for the conduct of the Championships.

To act as ‘Accredited Representative’ of all its affiliated Organizations in all matters of common interest as State Body.

To co-ordinate Inter-State activities in respect of ‘Roller Skating’ in all ways including holding of Inter-State Tournaments, organizing or recognizing Championship Tournaments / Events.

To organize National & State Championships of ‘Roller Skating’ in West Bengal for enhancing overall status of Roller Skating in the State and to set path for ‘Olympic Qualification’ & ‘National Qualifications’ by the players.

To facilitate ‘International Exposure’ to junior players to create comprehensively established progressive pathway for them and for the State.

To receive ‘Grants-in-Aid, Funds and Sponsorships’ for the purpose of the Association and deploy the same in such a manner as may be considered desirable for the promotion of ‘Roller Skating’.

To select ‘Teams’ to represent West Bengal and to promote, control and finance visits for National & International Participation.

To promote, control and, if necessary, to finance the visits of foreign Teams/National Teams/other State Teams to West Bengal.

To have Officials Committee, maintain ‘Panel of Technical Officials’ and also to nominate Officials or Coaches to attend Training Camps being organized by RSFI & RSAB, from time to time, for Certification.

To maintain a panel of ‘Coaches’ and also to nominate State Coaches of Senior, Juniors and Sub-Juniors.

To support, popularize and encourage the development of ‘Roller Skating’ as a sports for all.

To maintain an ‘Anti-Doping Program’ and to ensure compliance with ‘RSFI/WADA’ code and guidelines.
